Unpacking and Inspection

This printer has been specially packaged to withstand damage during shipping. Please carefully inspect the packaging and printer upon receiving the bar code printer. Please retain the packaging materials in case you need to reship the printer. 

Ensure you have received all of the components:

  • Printer
  • Power Cable
  • USB Cable
  • Quick Installation Guide
  • Installation CD (you won’t be needing it)
  • External Roll Mount

Set Up the Printer

  1. Follow the installation instructions in the attached Quick Installation Guide.
  2. Load the ink ribbon.
  3. Load the labels. 
  4. Install the Windows Printer Driver or the Mac Printer Driver and follow the setup wizard instructions.

Set the Printer Default Paper Size

This can be set in your Windows Printer Settings.

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, then click Printers.
  2. Right-click the appropriate printer, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Paper tab and then select 4x4 as the paper size you want to use in the Paper Size box.
  4. Click OK, and then close the Printers folder.
